stuff

So, you know how i said i would be updating my moms progress
too? well, she tore the muscle in her calf tripping over the dog
this week. so ya needless to say she will not be doing anything
extra for about a month if not 2 and so i wont be posting mins
done for her.

As far as my progress, i haven't done any extra mins this week.
The celulitis in my leg is better than it was, but i haven't tried
walking on the tread mill yet because it just got to the point
where its not killer to walk around the house. I will start
Tuesday
. I have made plans with my little sister to go walking
every day at 10. the problem is we didn't agree on a starting
day so i will just walk on the treadmill until she is ready to
start too. i have made a menu for the family to stick with and
it has made food shopping much less stressful for my mother
which is good. also i have been focusing on fixing the portion
sizes for family meals and calorie counting the meals as well.
Come to find out our portion sizes are not the problem with
why we cant lose weight. We just need to move more.

so the plan is to:
  • walk everyday at 10 am
  • hike whenever is possible
  • have (4) 3000 cal deficit weekends

Also for LYS we were supposed to meditate and write a
short blog post nomore than 4 sentences on how you feel
and where your come from was. but meditation is a very
private thing for me, I don't even tell my family things or feeling
i learn from meditation so there is no way i am going to.
and if that means that i am no longer able to do the challenge
then so be it.

"This is it! There is no turning back now." she said to herself as she stepped forward. She had prepared for this day for months now and was not going to make excuses any more. As she opened the door she took a deep breath. She could smell fresh air warmed by the sun. It was refreshing; as if she was waking up from a long, dreamless sleep. Sara Livingston
